Watch out for AtlanticVegas Casino

Just a friendly warning...A few months ago, they had a $50 no deposit bonus that they offered. I took the bonus (which was only playable on blackjack at the time) and turned it into a little over $2,000. When asked about withdrawal terms, they decided that they needed a $200 good faith deposit - that seemed a little rich for my blood as well as unreasonable, so I left the money in there. A few weeks later, the site was undergoing maintenance and would be back soon - I was assured that the $2K was safe and would remain there.Fast forward to a few days ago - the site is suddenly no longer undergoing maintenance, so I tried to log in. Apparently all of the previous player accounts were wiped out in the maintenance , but I was encouraged to apply for a new account. When asked about the $2,000 that had suddenly disappeared, I was advised that if I deposited $200, they would consider putting the money back in my account.I'm curious - what planet would this solution be acceptable on?Needless to say, I'm not going to be depositing ANYTHING OF VALUE there anytime soon...

what pigs!! sorry about your $2000, PSP. I had $2000 prize vaporize today too, but maybe not quite so blatantly slimy. A few weeks ago I entered an RTG tournament, I made first place, which paid $2000. It was due to end on oct 31st. I've been checking on my standing every day or two. But when i logged on today i was surprised to see i had a balance of about $40 ... and then a pop-up said that they had cancelled the tournament and credited my account with the entry fee.... :( "

How would a street smart teenager answer this?  like duh! They have ways of checking people out.  They pay money to sources to find out how much wealth people have first before they decide to pay.  Does a casino in Vegas keep serving drinks and comps to street stragglers without a steady income?  Why?  Same answer If you have a record of losing steadily at one of their partners without you winning much they may pay.  Why $200?  If they decide to screw you, and everyone else reincorporate and rename and open up again it is more starter money.  Else they figure it is also 10% more money they will get back of the 2000.  Stay with the casinos you know that work and where you have powerful groups backing you like Belgamos forum!

I really don't think that Atlantic Vegas is hiring private detectives to find out players net worth, most likely they just decided not to pay. Just my opinion of course...

What a terrible way to run a casino.

I'm sorry you lost your $2000 balance there.   I have a feeling, even with a $200 deposit (which is outrageous)  you would never of seen your balance reappear.  Undergoing maintenence and losing players accounts is beyond unacceptable.  What a joke. I appreciate the post and the heads up on your experience at AtlanticVegas.  When looking for a place to deposit, I will certainly steer clear of that place. Thanks again....                                                                                              Pam

I feel for ya man, I had a very similar incident happen to me at CoolCat ( Even though the forum is giving them another chance, I WONT) I made numerous deposits there over a 2 year period, (always got the 100% no-max cashout bonus) without a single withdrawl, so i made another $25.00 deposit but this time was offered a 150% bonus for being loyal. Well what do you know i actually won and made the playthrough but when i made my first (and ONLY) withdrawl request of $2,500.00 i was told i could only withdrawl $250.00! cause this time the bonus was a 10X max cashout....blah blah blah...This casino and ALL it's sister sites are crooks and pathetic, a total discrace to online gambling. Live and Learn brother.......

PSP, it's messed up that they took your balance, I would consider this a blessing that you didn't deposit that $200 previously. This is another casino that is not going to be up and running for long. Since day one this casino was mentioned, nothing but problems. CoolCrap....well I will save my horror story for another thread.

Thanks MM!As I'm sure you remember, I was confident that I wasn't going to get paid when it first happened. My initial balance after making playthrough was around $600, so I actually asked the huddled masses here if I should go big or go home. The vote was Go BIG - so I did, and ended up with just over $2,000 with a few very questionable wagers on marginal blackjack hands. Just for kicks, I even offered to put together a group to come up with the $200 deposit in exchange for a 50% split of the pot, but it became clear that the payoff wasn't going to happen so I decided to just torment them instead ;)Thanks to all for your concern - it's not like I was going to lose sleep over the result no matter which way it went. For those who chose to lecture me on the benefits of playing only at reputable online casinos, I only have one thing to say.....Happy Halloween everyone!

No, they don't hire too many people to find things out because they don't pay them either!

Yes, I got the $50 free too, and played their one single slot machine.  Not only was it boring,  But for the life of me, I couldnt get the sound to work, so it was extra lame.                                                                                  Pam
