Definition of Terms used on NDF

NDF No Deposit Required Casino Gambling Forum

Home Page Casino offers both no deposit and deposit... special exclusives..etc... This is a good place to pick up some really great freebies! You will also be helping the Forum out if you use Links found on the Forum or the Forum Homepage when you register a new account at a Casino.
There is a Link to the home page in the bar across the top of the Main Page of the Forum!

Terms and Conditions (T&C's)that a Casino puts on bonus's they offer players at thier casino. This is different at each Casino. T&C's can be different for bonus's at the same casino etc...

A few examples of Terms and Conditions and the problems that arise from not reading and understanding them before you deposit, redeem a bonus code...etc are listed at the bottom of this post! *

NO Deposit (n/d) Bonus or Code. This means a player receives the bonus money without putting up any of their own money.

New Players Bonus This means you have to be new to the Casino. You must have downloaded and recently registered for the Casino in order to receive the bonus. In some cases you can be an existing player but have never deposited. Check the Terms and Conditions for the promotion on an individual basis to make sure you qualify.

Exclusive Bonus It is necassary sometimes to have clicked on a link on a specific WEB site or forum to receive the bonus.

Bonus Codes These are a string of letters/numbers that a casino gives out that enable you to receive a bonus. Things you should know about bonus codes:

1) They are usually given out for an event or promotion. [Holidays.... Casino Anniversary etc.]

2) RTG Casino's are big on 'Bonus Codes'

3) Some Bonus Codes can only be used by one player/person. These are usually issued by a Casino and received by a player via Email or Snail Mail. These codes are easy to recognize. They have a lot more characters ...for example

Sticky Bonus Sticky means two different things in the Gambling Forum business.
A sticky bonus can never be cashed out. [It sticks with the Casino] You can use the money from the bonus account to wager as much as you like.
The profits generated from the bonus can be cashed out!

A simple way to think of it is:

At cash out time the amount of your sticky bonus is subtracted from how much the Casino actually sends you...
So for example you deposit 100 dollars and they give you %250 or $250.

So when you start playing you have $350.
You get your balance up to $750 and cash out.
The Casino sends you (We pray) $500 in winnings.... they subtract out the $250 bonus.

The other kind of Sticky on Gambling Forums: Administrators and Moderators can make any post what is called a 'Sticky Post'. Simply this means it sticks to the top of the thread it is posted in.

Note: Normally most Forum software will move any post in a thread that is new to the top of the list of posts or topics in that thread. That way the new information filters to the top so members seeking information will see NEW and Current information first.

Types of Casino software:

Rival Software - Best known for their iSlots. Sloto Cash, Paradise 8, Davincis Gold, Pantasia, Superior are all Casinos that run Rival Software.

Odds on Casinos- English Harbor, Superslots, Red Hot Pepper, Millionaire Casino etc These casinos are best known for the Pay and Free Roll Tournaments they hold on a regular basis.

Playtech - Best known for dropping all US Players. Maxima, Carnival, Monaco Gold, and 32 Vegas...etc. are all Playtech Casinos

Example 1
A player decides to deposit using a deposit bonus at Casino X. He gets his %20 match bonus on his deposit and happily goes off to play! He has increadable luck. He manages to meet the Casinos requirements for play through {This is a T&C by the way} on the deposit freebie. He has clearly WON $300 and off he goes to withdraw.

He is informed that he is not allowed to cash out! What???? He deposited his own money.......It turns out that One of the Conditions Casino X has on the particular deposit bonus he used states:

NO TABLE GAMES or all winnings will become non cashable!

He had only just checked out the black Jack table for less than FIVE minutes...

......That does not matter Sir- We are very sorry but this is Casino Policy! Sorry NO CASH OUT!!

Example 2
I had a nasty happen to me from not reading the T&C's before I deposited:

I use to play poker at Party Poker at the Play Money Tables. I had a lot of fun and had made some good friends that I enjoyed playing with. I got the bright idea one day to try out the Real Money Tables. So I deposited...... I actually did not have anywhere near as much fun....everyone was dead serious ....no one chated or kidded around.
I decided it was not for me. When I went to log into my play money account....I WAS DENIED ACCESS!!! I came to find out that once you became a real player you were banned from the play money tables!

IF I HAD READ the T & C's before I deposited ...I never would have deposited.

As far as your lucky number picks question...

A lucky number pick is a 4 digit number of your choosing when you put it with your qualifying deposit in a particular thread. ( contest threads. )

The tourneys work the same way, but you dont need a lucky number pick to get into those. Just a qualifying deposit. Be sure to watch the dates of when your deposits qualify for each tourney.
