Atlantic City Saying Goodbye To The Trump Name ... Slowly But Surely
Donald Trump has been a huge precense in Atlantic City for over 20 years, since the 1980's but is slowly pulling his empire or name out of the city.
The Donald's corporate office and a warehouse are up fpr sale as well as the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino. In August, his Steel Pier amusement park was bought for $4.25 million. The Golden Nugget Atlantic City was once known as the Trump Marina Hotel Casino. The Trump Marina was rebranded.
So why, after Donald Trump's $225 million bankruptcy buyout when corporate bondholders took over, did they start acting like real estate agents instead of the casino owners that they are?
Trump feels that he is too busy with other projects and investments. One of his projects is a reality show called "The Apprentice". His name is still up in lights with two casinos but has a very small percentage in the business dealings.
Atlantic City and Donald Trump have gone hand in hand for decades but the time is upon us now where everyone will watch the Trump empire turn into distant memories.
