Full Tilt Poker License REVOKED!

Oh my! (like we didn't see that coming at all)

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission has revoked Full Tilt Poker's license for non payment of players from all over the world. The Associated Press reports that FTP had "fundamentally misled" regulators about its finances.

On June 29th, Full Tilt Poker had their license suspended by the AGCC. Last week 2 co-owners of the poker site, Chris Ferguson and Howard Lederer, were slapped with a civil complaint that they were involved in the "ponzi scheme" the company was accused of by the US Feds. And now the revocation.

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission says Full Tilt misled it by "continuously reporting as liquid funds balances that had been covertly seized or restrained by US authorities, or that were otherwise not actually available to the operator. Serious breaches of AGCC regulations include false reporting, unauthorised provision of credit, and failure to report material events."

The AP says that due to the revoked license, it is going to be more difficult to sell the poker site and pay back it's players. The company says that they are committed in paying back all that is owed even though "the potential damage done by the commission and its disregard for our players."
