The Heads Up Poker Championship Cancelled Due To Black Friday
The 2012 Heads Up Poker Championship has been cancelled by NBC with one major reason why. Black Friday.
PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker were both sponsors of the event and for reasons we all know about, they will not be sponsoring Heads Up.
NBC has broadcasted the poker championship since 2005 and has not completely ruled out the possiblity of the poker torunament returning but has pulled the "feathers" out of the 2012 broadcast. (NBC - Peacock - Feathers)
This was an invitation only tournament that had a mix of some of the world's top poker players.
