Not surprising news but SunFirst Bank, the bank that was masking online gambling transactions for the poker rooms that were seized on Black Friday, has been shut down.
At the end of last week, the US federal governnment shut the doors to Sunfirst Bank for good.
Before being taken for a ride by Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and UB.com, SunFirst Bank was already in financial trouble. Could that be why they jumped on the fraud and money laundering bandwagon with the poker rooms? Would losing over $2 million in just the first half of 2011 make any company do things out of desperation?
