Nevada is the benchmark for the rest of the United States when it comes to online gambling and their gaming board says they can police the online gaming industry in the US.
With Nevada being the first state to potentially get online gambling legalized, which they say they are ready for, questions and concerns about the industry getting out of control came up.
Mark Lipparelli, the chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board said that even though there are ways to to cheat the system, the cheats would be found and called out quickly. This also applies to identifying underage gamblers, addicted gamblers, poker or other gambling bots, and money laundering or other illegal activities.
This was presented to a House commerce subcommittee to reassure them that controls would be put in place and that the go ahead for the legalization of online gambling should be given.
