Curious as to what everyone else does for New Year's Eve....Me and hubby go out in the afternoon for a few cocktails and food. Then come home and have munchies for supper. He watches football and I sit here playing at a casino hoping I hit big I used to go to a landbased casino, but I refuse to go again and wait 2 hrs for the slot machine I want...Last time I went, I sat at my machine for 8 hrs...There were people waiting 3 deep.....I got lucky and made some money, but at one time down $400.00.....Have fun in whatever you do and GL GL to you in the year 2012.....
I myself think I will head to my Sisters in Flint. I also have a neice and nephew there, and I have not seen them in a long while, and miss them very much.
We will have munchies, and champange to bring in the new year with.
Lots of catching up and fun conversation.
Praying for good weather so all this can happen. haha
I too will skip the casino this year as it is soooooooo busy it really isnt any fun when not even being able to walk and find a game.
Really though, my plans fell through with my special guy for New Year's Eve so we are gonna celebrate tonight but with a different twist. Instead of a "New Years Eve" party, I am gonna have a "Thank God It's Over" party!!
Because this whole last year has been somewhat tough on me, we are going to be celebrating that it is OVER and I will never look back!
I just might be starting my New and (I'll say this in advance) Wonderful Year off on the right foot and not wake up with a hangover on Jan 1st!
So tonight, I'll be hanging with my friend (and my other friend Jose Cuervo) and going to the track to bet on a few races.
My plans as of right now are to go out with my two fav sisters and sing karaoke at a local bar and drink. I haven't drank or been out of the house since November, so I can't wait!
I am doing what I do EVER New Years Eve.... driving.. I can't remember the last time I didn't. I work so others can play safely. Driving a party bus this year...
