Casinos Are Banking From Penny Slots

Here is an interesting article I found. I'm passing it on to you because as it states, The casinos tell you virtually nothing about slot machines .The Illinois Gaming Board, the Indiana Gaming Commission and other gaming jurisdictions around the country reveal penny slots are making more and more money for casinos nationwide. OK , you may say. So what? I just PLAY the slots. I don't own a casino! But the fact of the matter is this: The casinos tell you virtually nothing about slot machines. Whatever information you can extrapolate from the statistics that they are required by law to turn over to the state will be as much or more information as you could garner from any other source. The reason for the increase in the number of penny slots is obvious. The collective hold percentage (the amount of money wagered on the machines that is retained by the casino) is higher than any other denomination.Read the full article here.

My local land casino is mostly penny slots. I play them all the time. You can really win alot. The betting usally goes 40 lines x 1 ...2....5....10....20So you can see, even if you are betting only 40 and 5 , thats $2.00 a spin. The wins really add up, but so does the losses if you are not lucky. hahahaI love penny slots. They have all the latest games in this kind of machine. Thanks for the post Mben. Very interesting. Pam

I already knew that!! But, I still go to the casino to play the penny slots! I know I should go play 25c or higher, but won't  Max bet is $4.50 on a lot of penny slots I play...so if a person does that, they may as well go to the $1 slots.....I never play max, other than hitting that damn button by accident....

I love the penny slots too. They are just more fun than the quarter and dollar machines. But I know that if I'm not careful (even though it says PENNY machine), I could blow more than what I would have on a quarter machine. And quicker.
