UCLA ran into a hot goalie and solid defense in Virginia Tech and lost 11-8 in the semifinals. They will play the loser of the other semifinal game for 3rd place tomorrow.

There were many tears from the girls, but they all played well and should be very proud. I know that I am proud of them...

It's heartbreaking seeing kids (even adults) on the losing team. I just want to hug them all and say "good game" because for them to get where they eventually were, they had to play a good game to get there.

Tell your daughter I said congrats on her and her teammate's achievements this season.
