    Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut’s National Pizza Return is offering a chance to get more dough this year in return for all the dough you ate last year. Go to pizzareturn.com and download the P-2 form. You’ll be asked questions like how many pizzas you ordered, how many feet of “flavored up” crust you wolfed down, how many toppings you juggled, and how many pepperonis you think you ate in 2014.

Make sure to fill out all of the questions and to answer them as (or more!) honestly than you did on your tax filing. The more pizza you ate, the more you’ll win. Our internal pizza agent at the Hut told us everyone who properly fills out the form gets a Pizza Hut gift card for $10 or more.

Answer questions on the P-2 form honestly. We’re told Pizza Hut return agents will carefully vet each filing. Photo: Pizza Hut

There’s a catch, though. Forget about e-filing. Pizza Hut’s gone old school and is making everyone file through the U.S. mail. The good news is that forms can be downloaded until 6 p.m. EST on April 17 and postmarked no later than Saturday, April 18.

    Hard Rock Cafes

Participating Hard Rock cafes on Tuesday, April 14, will open up their stages and give fans a chance to “sing for their suppers.” Perform a complete song on Hard Rock Cafe’s stage in front of the crowd and receive a free Legendary burger.

    California Tortilla

California Tortilla, with restaurants throughout the Middle Atlantic states, is giving away free chips and queso or salsa on Wednesday to anyone who makes a purchase and mentions the very secret password: “Taxes Shmaxes.”

    BLT Steak and BLT Prime

ESquared Hospitality is offering one of the most appropriate promotions to help ease the pain of Tax Day: one-half off all cocktails, beer, and wines by the glass and bottles at its BLT Steak and BLT Prime restaurants in New York City; White Plains, N.Y.; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago; Scottsdale, Ariz.; Waikiki, Hawaii; and Washington, D.C. We’ll drink to that.

    Kona Ice

To help you keep your cool on Tax Day, Kona Ice trucks in 45 states will park outside post offices, tax prep centers and related businesses Wednesday to hand out free standard cups of shaved ice. You might even get extra lucky. About 80 percent of those trucks will also be giving out free leis. To find out the location of the nearest truck, Tweet @konaice.

    Schlotzky’s

Schlotzky’s, the Texas-based deli chain, is giving away one small original sandwich per customer with the purchase of a 32-once drink and a bag of chips at participating restaurants.

    Sonny’s BBQ

This is one IRS you can’t help but love. Sonny’s BBQ is offering half-price rib dinners for its Irresistible Ribs Special on Tax Day.

Tony Roma’s employees will also be handing out the free cakes and coupons to last-minute filers on Tax Day at post offices in Miami’s Doral and Sunny Isles areas.

    Boston Market

Buy an individual meal whole sandwich, whole sandwich combo, salad bowl, or market bowl at participating Boston Market restaurants on Tax Day and get a free meal of an equal or lesser value.

    Whole Foods

Various Whole Foods Market stores around the country will be offering unique Tax Day-related deals and specials. Check out your store’s webpage or social media channel to see what it has planned.

Olive Garden is offering $6 off two adult dinner entrees through April 19.

I wish the IRS themselves would do something on Tax Day like .... get lost! :thumb:

(said with bitterness from a tax paying citizen who is still paying for a screw up on their part a few years back)
