High Water

We had 20 plus inches rain in 2 days then rain off and on for 3 weeks. Red River in Shreveport, La. and Ouachita River in Monroe, La. are above flood stage. Problems on Mississippi River too. This has cause river boat casinos some problems. One casino in Vicksburg, MS closed down. Harrahs in Bossier City closed for several days due to back water flooding ( Not on the River).

Oh my goodness! Stay safe jewelnurse, bummer about the casinos, I've been known to drive from here in Texas to Bossier City to hit those casinos. I love that the drinks are free there there - the casinos in Oklahoma that I usually frequent do not have free drinks Love the buffet at the Horseshoe

It seems you deal with a lot of flooding, jewelnurse. I remember the pics from last year that you posted I believe.

Move to the desert! We only deal with flash flooding which really never affects anything unless you get caught up in one. Yikes!
