Intertops Stops Accepting Bitcoin

Antigua-based Intertops has advised its customers they will no longer be offering Bitcoin, the anonymous digital currency, as a payment processing option.

Bitcoin has become a common and quite popular method of depositing funds and receiving withdrawals to and from online gambling sites over the past year after some early resistance. For some online gambling sites, particularly those that cater to North Americans, Bitcoin now accounts for more than a quarter of all deposits and withdrawals. The method often allows for payouts to be made within a matter of minutes no matter time of day or day of week (though this process varies).

It is unclear as to why Intertops removed the option. The company has been offering Bitcoin since December 2015.

Not that I use bitcoin, but wonder if this isn't going to set a precedent......I can't deposit at quite a few casino's with my Visa. Ordered a Netspend as was suggested by several casino's. Hope it works where I want to deposit...Maybe will have to revert back to land-based :dino: That would not be all that great:(

I went to Intertop Red's cashier after I posted this and I still see bitcoin as an option. Then I started to click on the sign up links from within the option. After hitting one site for bitcoin, I thought it looked like such a hassle that I probably won't use that option ever. It did show $10 min deposits with it though. That is really appealing.

We'll just need to keep an eye on the news to see of anymore stop offering bitcoin.

I do hope NS works for you. I had 3 NS accounts locked during all the years I've been playing online. They caught on I was depositing with their card(s).

God I hope it's not because of me. Or too many deposits that get hung up and support gets flooded with questions as to how much longer it can take. Darn I really wanted to bring a cashout home that way there(or anywhere really)

Tried loading my Netspend via bank transfer....Didn't work:( Guess I will have to spend $3.95 and load it at Walmart...Gee, this is getting so sickening. Really, let me spend my money the way I want!

    And it's back.

Antigua-based Intertops had advised its customers last week they were not allowing Bitcoin, the anonymous digital currency, as a payment withdrawal option but advised Gambling911.com on Wednesday Bitcoin withdrawals are now being reinstated.

"We are glad to announce that we expect bitcoin payouts to be up again in the next 24 hours. We had to experience some technical issues, but were able to sort these issues out," an Intertops spokesperson informed G911.

Intertops has been offering Bitcoin since December 2015.

I wonder whats their problem with bitcoin. It is one of the best created virtual coin in the world. It's like a universal currency for us and can be used to play casinos anywhere that accept bitcoins.

I use the Prestige Pay Prepaid Visa card and it is never declined plus I had Grand Fortune add the Mastercard option for me even though I live in the U.S.
