[video=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eSN8Cwit_s] I have always liked Mark Wahlerg. I see him as a very what a hunk actor. lol The fact that he was a rapper at one point in his life AND went on to become the actor that he is, not saying an Oscar winning actor, does set him above the rest that tried and failed. It seems I have been watching a lot of movies with him in them lately. Just last night I watched him in Shooter . <em class="date"> Oct 5, 1991: Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch earn a #1 hit with Good Vibrations </h2>Failed attempts by Hollywood actors to achieve success as singers or rappers are plentiful in the history of pop music. Examples of such unsuccessful crossovers abound, from William Shatner's Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds (1968) and Eddie Murphy's Party All The Time (1985) to the entire musical oeuvres of Bruce Willis, David Hasselhoff and Steven Seagal. But only one prominent example springs to mind in which this familiar formula was reversed, and a lackluster career in music preceded a successful career as a respected actor. That example is the career of the actor Mark Wahlberg, who first gained fame as the rapper Marky Mark, whose #1 hit Good Vibrations reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 on this day in 1991. -- Edited by Mben on Wednesday 5th of October 2011 11:45:52 AM

Mben:You made my day. I have always loved, and still do enjoy me some serious Pat Benatar.I cant tell you how many times I have saw her in concert.  My very first one was 1986, and I still have the ticket stub to prove it.  I had Pat clothing, posters, jewelry, and damn did I think I looked cool.  hahaPat is one of those stars that just get better with age.  She still tours, and I grab those tickets every Summer when she comes to Detroit.Yep, I am a serious Pat fan. Thanks for posting Mben.                                                               Pam                                                                                   [video=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGVZOLV9SPo&ob=av2n]
