Miami Club needs to hear this point of view on their rules for winning chips

Hello fellow forum contest entrants! First of all, I want to say that No Deposit Forum, Streak and the other forums out there that hold these free chip contests for us are in no way responsible for any of what I am about to point out about these contests and the rules they put on them (to make it hard to win). The "rule" that I am here to point out the ridiculousness of is Miami Club's, that your last transaction must have been a bonus free deposit. I happened to have made a $35 bonus free deposit on Feb 3rd and then took a freaking $5 free chip afterwards which is what voided me getting the $35 free chip that I had won from Streak on Feb 3rd or 4th! Doesn't that stink? If I had been aware of the contest being closed when it did, I wouldn't have taken that $5 free chip. My fault for not checking/remembering it. It was really just hearing these horror stories lately about not getting paid from the casino after using a bonus of one kind or another having a rule somewhere in the fine print that allows the casino to deny cashing out sometimes that made me go ahead and forego the deposit bonus that particular times. So, anyway, if you make the minimum deposit of $35 at Miami and then don't take the deposit bonus and then happen to win $35 in the forum contest (which by the way is the amount of the free chip that I had won from Streak) it turns out to be the same total amount of money, or even slightly less, of real/bonus money if you were to have taken the 100% deposit bonus (which I am offered to use up to 5 times during the month) or the daily deposit bonuses offered of 100% and the 110% on Sundays! You know what I mean? So, at least in this particular case, you don't end up winning anything at all! You have the same thing either way you go on it. And in the case of winning less than $35, or not taking the available 110% deposit bonus offered on Sundays at Miami, you end up coming out behind in the situation.


I wrote them about this earlier today after waiting for them to award this chip to me all month through a small miracle. I will keep you posted if and when I hear back from them.

I guess I am hoping that if enough of us point this out to them that they will come to their senses and take that rule out and just in general work on all of the rules for that matter!!!! I can hope, right??!!

The other thing about those kind of rules for winning that bothers me is it almost seems like you are being "punished" for taking advantage of their offered deposit bonuses or the little itty bitty free chips that they throw your way once in awhile. Is it that they really just can't afford these things for us?? I think not!!!

Is anyone else with me on this?

I hear ya, jumbo, but I don't think anyone is going to be able to get that rule taken out of the Miami Group contest on here or on any other forum.

A couple of months ago, the rep told me it stays. I had tried to get him to take it out by telling him that we would not have participation because of the rule. He understood where I was coming from, but I think it was out of his hands.

It does suck to win a chip only to remember your last deposit had a bonus attached to it or your last transaction was a freebie. It comes down to timing, I suppose.
