Thought we better start a new thread because the original thread is bogging down with all the great videos posted! (slow loading for me anyway)I'll start this one off with one of my all time favorite bands and their tribute to my great state of Arizona!

I noticed that on the Part I list Goyte - Somebody I used to know - was listed several times. I love that song as well but I equally LOVE the Pentatonix Cover of the same song. I'm thinking I like this version even more. This little group is overflowing with talent. I never get tired of watching them perform. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I also have a spoof version of this cover band performing the same song. It is so funny and sounds good as well. I won't post now............you will have to wait. Enjoy!

Billy Thorpe - Children Of The Sun
One of the coolest songs ever made! ( This is not an official video - someone made the video and put the music to it but since the song is what I really want to post not the video, I'm fine with that. The video is not bad thought)

Congratulations to Tucson's very own Linda Ronstadt who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Thursday! For those of you who don't know, she was a great Mariachi singer also!

I've always liked Andy Gibb. Too bad he left us way too soon.Love Maria Osmond too!

You know until recently I had believed Andy Gibb was one of the Bee Gees because I thought I remembered him being on a Bee Gees lunch box I had when I was a little girl. But he wasn't in the Bee Gees and it was definitely a Bee Gees lunch box so it must have been Barry Gibb. (because it was one of the good looking Gibbs)I remember one time I was walking home from school when a high school girl (or as i used to think of them a big kid ) called to me.... Hey little girl, I like your lunch box. I thought I was so cool after that! I think I was in third grade so looking back it was a pretty cool lunch box to have at that age. Gosh, I wish I still had it!

OK, so I missed his 20 year anniversary by a few days (April 7, 1994) - that being said, Kurt Cobain was a tremendous influence on the music scene that I shouldn't like. But I do....

How sad is that the first time I heard this, I said to my wife That sounds like Nile Rodgers and Chic circa 1979 ...and that's exactly who is playing the rhythm guitar :thumb:

I don't know anything about the space helmet guys, but Nile Rodgers was a big hitter in the disco era.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nile_Rodgers
