Funny the way songs can open the floodgates to so many memories. This is one for me and no, it has nothing to do with an old boyfriend. lolMy mom, my brother and I took a road trip from AZ to CA back in the late 70's. I was a 14 or so. I remember how excited I was that I was her co-pilot and got to control the radio. My parents loved that real easy listening music, nothing hip for the time period, that's for darn sure.Well this song came on the radio and I cringed a little bit because I thought my mom would immediately change the station. A song about wanting to kiss someone all over. Oh no! hahaha She didn't say a word. :)Today is my mom's birthday and I miss her a whole lot.

I Love A Rainy Night is the song I remember Eddie Rabbit by. And since Clint Eastwood is in the picture, I'm reminded of a movie I watched recently with him in it called Trouble With The Curve . Cute movie. I know he is up there in years but I can't help but think back to his younger years when he was one good looking man. I have loved him ever since a high school teacher made us watch a spaghetti western as a class subject with Clint Eastwood starring in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly . Ok, so back to the country singers .... I LOVE Keith Urban! He's so sexy and I love his accent! That's really the only reason why I watch American Idol. Because he's a judge. lol

Thank for sharing you video of your son. As per your request I tried not to let it make me sad but it was a little hard. It looks like he was a blast and very full of life, not to mention the way he could wear a dress

Out of all the music I love, if I was stuck on a desert island and could only have one album, Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon would be it!  And if I could be blessed with one movie, it would be the Wizard of Oz!!!  If you have never experienced the pure joy of all your senses coming to life, then you have to play the Wizard of Oz while listening to the Dark Side Of The Moon!  Utter, indescribable pleasure!  Enjoy!

LOL...not funny! You have the volume on movie turned all the way down. You play the movie as the Metro Golden Lion roars, while at the same exact time pushing the play button on the CD. It's like they were made for each other. Pink Floyd was even accused of making the album around the movie. Cause most of us know the Wizard of Oz by heart and us cool kids know the whole Dark Side of The Moon album. It's something you have to try at least once in your lifetime! If you're not living, you're dying!
