According to this article, there were bets being taken on different aspects of the US Presidential debates that took place last night in Denver. You guessed it. There are actually US Presidential debate betting odds available. Only problem is, most Americans wont be able to bet.PaddyPower.com, the United Kingdom's third largest online bookmaker, has released odds on Wednesday nights (October 3) US Presidential debate but they do not accept bets from those living in the United States. Some of the offerings include odds on the color of both President Barack Obamas and Governor Mitt Romneys ties. Obama was a favorite to be sporting a red tie at 1/4 odds while blue came in at 7/2 and grey/silver had odds of 9/1. Open collar would pay out 100/1 odds while a bowtie would pay 50/1. Romney also was favored to be wearing a red tie at 4/9 while blue came in at 9/4. There were odds on how Romney would conclude the debate with Thank You at 1/2 odds. You could also bet on Romneys Real Clear Politics poll average on October 10. In case you are wondering what color the ties were that the candidates were wearing last night ..... Obama - BlueRomney - RedKind of made me laugh imagining either one showing up with an open collar or a bow tie even. lol -- Edited by Mben on Thursday 4th of October 2012 02:43:35 PM
