The two states that legalized the use of marijuana and one of the states that legalized online gambling are the mix for this year's Bong Bowl. All the sins converge February Sunday February 2 as the first and only two US states that have legalized marijuana will be represtented at this year's Super Bowl, hosted by one of only three states that have made Web gambling legal. It's the first ever Stoner Bowl or Bong Bowl or ... well ... there are bound to be plenty of nicknames given to this most unusual Super Bowl. Both Colorado and Washington became the first states to legalize recreational use of Marijuana in 2013. Colorado sends the Denver Broncos to the Meadowlands in New Jersey while Washington State sends their beloved Seattle Seahawks.Host state New Jersey had hoped to begin offering legalized sports wagering around this time but the courts weighed in, for now preventing such activity. That said, the Garden State is one of three in the union that now allow real money online casino gambling and poker. Bookmakers based outside the US, many of which still take action from US citizens, will likely be adding a half dozen or so new prop bets to their wagering platforms thanks to this year's Stoner Bowl. A few hundred prop bets are typically offered leading up to the Super Bowl, some of which are customized for a specific game. Case in point, when New Orleans played in the 2010 Super Bowl, one of that franchise's big stars Reggie Bush had been dating reality star Kim Kardashian. Some of the books were offering prop bets on the OVER/UNDER number of times Kim would be shown in the stands. Other fun Kardashian prop wagers included Kim Kardashian Waist Size (26 inches) vs First Half Total for Super Bowl XLIV and Will Kim Kardashian Be Shown Wearing a Saints Shirt or Jersey during Super Bowl XLIV.So what type of prop bets might be offered for this year's Stoner Bowl? How about mere mention of the marijuana element during the broadcast or will there be a marijuana leaf displayed during any portion of the broadcast?Do any of the players appear on the field sporting a pot leaf symbol? Will Super Bowl Halftime performer Bruno Mars light up or include a pot symbol as part of his ensemble? Will anybody be shown lighting up in the stands during the big game? Will Cheech and/or Chong attend this year's Super Bowl? For those of you who don't know, Cheech and Chong are the Grammy Award-winning comedy duo who were once prominently featured in canibus-friendly films long before it was vogue to do so.Does the song Pass the Doobie get played at any time during this year's Super Bowl broadcast? There could be an OVER/UNDER on the number of times a marijuana symbol, reference or pot smoker is shown/alluded to during the broadcast, most likely inadvertently. You can look at it one of two ways, suggests Gambling911.com Senior Editor Payton O'Brien. The National Football League maintains such a squeaky clean image they will do everything in their power to prevent any mention or display of pot smoking euphoria or there is just no avoiding a referencing and symbolizing the activity at some point during this year's Super Bowl. We shall see.As always you'll be able to find a ton of Super Bowl betting props at Bookmaker here .source
