I wanted to share a really sad story with you all. a few houses down from me lives Chiara. she is a single mom and has a daughter named mia. she will be 6 years old in december. mia was diagnosed with leukemia last year. its not looking so good right now and she has to stay in the hospital. my daughter and i went to see her this past week and mia told us that she wishes that she could spent her birthday and christmas at home. her mom told me that this is not possible because her insurance want cover the cost for all the equipment thats needed to keep her home for a week. i got together with a few friends of mine and we decided to see if we can not pitch in together and see if we can raise the 2100 . we got 680 so far from friends and family. i thought that i might start an email mailer to all my contacts. does anyone in this formum know how to start a charity online? i contacted webwallets like paypal and neteller to find out how to do it but havent gotten a response yet. any idea you guys could give me would be so great. thanks!!!!
