(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mighty Zeus, the ancient Greek god of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods, presides majestically over Slotland's new Olympus slot game. The new game, which arrives on Monday, has three epic bonus features to improve players' wins.

When the king of the gods hurls his mighty thunderbolt at the reels he magically turns ordinary symbols into wilds, creating additional winning combinations. There are also two special symbols that award free spins and instant prizes.

Beginning Tuesday, Slotland will be giving players a $12 freebie to try the new game — VIP players get a $20 free chip. A choice of deposit bonuses with various wagering requirements will also be available until 18 April.

Symbols representing the god of travel and the god of the sea spin on the reels of Olympus. There are also Bonus scatters and Mystery symbols. Bonus symbols trigger up to 15 free spins with an up to 5x multiplier. Mystery symbols award instant cash prizes.

Olympus bets are made in "coins," worth a penny each. There are five simple bet choices — 80, 120, 240, 480 or a maximum 800 coins.

"What's this — an extra row!?" noticed one Slotland player. "Well, that's got to make for more winning paylines, doesn't it?"

"The first time those lighting bolts started flying across my screen I was like whoa, what's going on?!" said another player. "Love all those extra wilds — bring it on, Zeus!"

"Olympus has been really popular at our other casino, Win A Day Casino, where we first launched it," said manager Michael Hilary. "Win A Day had one of its biggest jackpot winners ever on Olympus not long ago."

Like most of its premium slot games, Olympus is tied to Slotland's site-wide progressive jackpot that's currently over $260,000 and overdue for a win.
