So what's wrong with that? There are a lot of people who gamble on sports. What some may consider wrong with that is .... Rick Perry, the governor of Texas and a Republican Presedential candidate, is completely against gambling in any way, shape and form. Gov Perry has opposed every bill that was proposed by their state legislature, from online poker to land based casinos in Texas. He stated I have consistently been an opponent to expanding the gambling footprint.  It is reported that Gov Perry made a little wager with Jay Nixon, who is the governor of Missouri. Perry's Texas Rangers and Nixon's St Louis Cardinals are facing each other at the world series. The bet that either team comes out on top does not include money. It includes food. Dr Pepper and BBQ beef from Texas and St Louis delights such as toasted ravioli and gourmet dishes and Budweiser beer. Dr pepper was invented in Waco, TX and Budweiser beer is brewed in St Louis, MO. So are you for or against gambling, Gov Perry? Make up your mind. If your totally against it, does a wager for food count? I think yes!
