TOO much paid for Red Stag withdrawal wire fees

A couple weeks ago I had mentioned that I had turned $2.00 into a withdrawal at Red Stag. Well, I dipped into it a little but ended up with $210 total being requested to be withdrawn. Red Stag charges $60 for the wire fee in the first place which is the highest I have ever heard of but to make matters worse, I only received $101.52 into my bank account (it should have been $150.00....$210.00 less $60 wire fee) so I got hold of customer service and it turns out that there was a "middle" bank involved (that's what they called it) and they apparently took out the missing $48.48 for their little grubby hands touching my money. THEN, my bank charged another $15.00 for their part in this bull.... withdrawal. If I sound angry, well, I am QUITE P.O.'d!

So, that would be a total of $123.48 in wire fees for one stinking lousy $210 withdrawal, that comes to 58.8% of my withdrawal went to wire fees.

Also, just so you all know, my withdrawal took it's sweet time being processed due to the fact that I was taking out $10 here and $10 there and each time I took $10 out, the clock started all over again for the mandatory 72 hours that they apply to your withdrawal before they will begin to process it. I wouldn't have touched it at all if I had known that.

So, anyway, that's what I wanted all of you to know about.

Good luck and be careful with stingy Red Stag and their first, middle and ending plethora of banks taking your money.

Sorry jumbo that sucks. :( Yes $60 is high, and your own bank charging anywhere between $10 - $20 to receive a transfer depending on who you bank with is standard. That's one of the reasons I loved my credit union and miss it so much, they didn't charge anything for me to receive a wire transfer.

And the middle bank is standard and unavoidable, your money bounces to several banks and countries before it gets to you but $48.48 outrageous!

As far as your withdrawal starting over every time you dip into it, that makes sense to me and at least now you know.

In summary? $108.40 in total for a wire transfer when all is said and done seems a bit unreasonable. I'm sorry hun :(

Price we pay to play online, I guess. Don't like all those fee's. Fee's, Fee's and more fee's:( Fee's to load a card, fee's for international deposits, bank fee's :bull:
Anyway, was thinking to self, it would cost me $25 RT to and from the casino...But then I would have to get a motel room or drive home tired:) BTW: Wire Transfer's are generally $60 at most places I play at. So, I opt for a check for only $40...:biglol:

I only play at places now that can just put the money back on the card I deposited to. Quick and easy process and minimal fees. The only fee you get hit with (if any) are from the casino. Nothing from my banks.

Good to know Pizano!!! I would love that. I suppose that if Intertops Red does it then Intertops Classic may do it as well. If not, I could transfer the funds from Classic to Red.

It's always nice to find the least expensive method to withdraw our money!!!!

Thank you

So I just rechecked Jackpot Capital to verify the fees and it looks like they went up. I recalled it only being $9 but now it is $15 for card pay. Still pretty reasonable.

Wow that is crazy. I have never heard of a place taking that much out before, that's just not okay. I would be mad too. I am totally staying away from them!

Grande Vegas RTG charged $60 for a wire. Like kk said, it's the price we have to pay to gamble online. Well, unless you go Pizano's route, then you don't have to pay. (that much anyway) lol ;)

Well last few withdrawals I had they said "Cardpay is currently unavailable." That usually means its going away for good lol. Time will tell so I choose a check being sent to me. Cheapest option.

That's too much for a wired fee. No wonder Red Stag keeps getting richer and richer over the years but I have to admit Red Stag is one of the best online casino that I have played. Still those fees hurt my bank roll so much.
