And it F@$&#*%G SUCKS!!

The government can't seem to keep their noses out of everyones business. They want to control every aspect of the US citizens lives. And it seems like it is only getting worse, bigger government, and more taxes. I personally haven't gambled online with my own money for several months now, but I had to give it up for reasons simalar. This does suck, and I personally don't see how the gamblers are going to get around this, unless something is passed that will regulate online gambling, so our goverment can yet tax us on something else! It is getting quite pathetic to say the least.

hmmmm, I heard NetSpend was sending every cardholder the message that they will no longer allow the use of cards for online gambling. I wonder if WiredPlastic is going to follow suit. I have been able to use my WiredPlastic up to now, but don't have any money on it to try right now....Anyone having problems using their WiredPlastic?

Sometimes I load my NS card and then transfer  my funds to my OT account. I had to do this a few times because my NS  card was rejected at some RTG casinos. Do you think we will still be able to do this.-- Edited by Cat Dancer on Monday 31st of May 2010 12:28:01 PM

June 1, 2010       Dear :Our records show that you may have used your for internet gambling transactions in the past.Beginning May 31, 2010, MasterCard and Visa will begin complying with the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act by blocking all online gambling transactions attempted by U.S. cardholders. This means you will not be able to use your NetSpend card or account for internet based gambling transactions. Internet gambling transactions will be automatically declined to comply with these federal regulations. NetSpend has no control over this change.Dont forget there are many great ways to use your NetSpend card. You can pay bills online or over the phone, shop online and make everyday purchases anywhere Visa debit cards or wherever Debit MasterCard is accepted. At NetSpend, we make sure that you are informed and in control of your money.Thank you,Your NetSpend Team(ok we get it get a life)

The same thing happened in Norway as of June 1st. Banks here are forbidden to transfer money for online gambling. It's 8a new law that went live now. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Back to Ukash for deposits then (I started with that before I got a Visa debit card). The government has no business in allowing or disallowing me where to spend my hard earned money. But because of a certain bishop's son they feel they have to....GRRRRRRRR
