What is Sic Bo? By Christina Applebaum Sic Bo is a very old Chinese game of chance played with 3. dice. Sic Bo literally means "precious dice". It was introduced to America in the early 1900's by Chinese immigrants and now can be found in many American casinos. The game play consists of the dice and a table with many betting options and looks like this: The players place their bets on the table and then the dealer shakes the dice. Usually in a chest that the dealer closes and shakes then opens to reveal the dice, OR a Chuck-a-luck from the American variation of Sic Bo known as Grand Hazard.
