Why did you start playing?

Hell once again ;) For quite a long time I've been interested in gambling and looked for some blogs to red but didn't dare to start playing myself. Then once my cousin won a good deal of money I thought "Why not?" It took time before I won for the first time, but I won! I can't say that I play a lot, but from time to time I do. Frankly speaking, I'm more interested in writing about gambling. Yes, I'm a bot on the side, but still in gambling :) And what about you? Why did you start playing?

I was always a land casino gambler. Many many years now. I began to see offers for free chips to try online gambling. The free chip offers were very plentiful years ago. Much more so than now. I found a great forum to help me make good decisions on where it was safe to play and where it wasn't. (A good forum is key to success in online gambling) and jumped in. My first win was Cirrus Casino for $200. They sent it thru Money Gram or something like that to my local Walmart. Sure, I had to wait a while. Wait times are way better now, but I did get paid. When that lady handed me the money, I felt like I won a million. LOL

So many things have improved since back then. There are far more reputable casinos out there. Wait times are less, and over all, getting verified goes smoother. With that said, you still have the challenge of WINNING!!! That remains tuff. lol

Gambling is in my blood.

Good luck to you in your spinning!! Thanks for the question. :goodluck2:

I had already been introduced to landbased casinos, but about 10 years ago I started playing free slots online. Then the thought came to me ... "if I can play for free, I wonder if I can play with real money", so I started looking into it. Lo and behold I could. That was the beginning for me and has been my life since. Playing, writing and working in the online gambling industry.

I agree with Pam also ... "a good forum is key to success in online gambling". I had a nice win for $7200 at a non reputable casino back then within the first since months of me playing for real online. Because of this forum, and the owner Belgamo, I found help with trying to get my cashout. I did receive half of it before I threw in the towel. Wasn't worth all the stress.

It started for me maybe 8-9 years ago with online poker, Texas Hold 'Em was my game. I learned there were online casinos as well, I eventually found a good forum (this forum) and much like Mben ended up in the industry promoting online gambling for several years.

:hi: I started to play recently. And I know only about slots and Black Jack. But it is became interesting for me to know more about poker. Certainly everybody needs lucky in gambling. But poker is also an intellectual process, isn't it? And I learn it.
So I started to play to earn a little money )), then to relax (slots, 21) and keep the brain in good shape.

Poker does take thought. Absolutely. I play for a bit of change almost 3 times a week, and although I am getting quicker when it is my turn to bet or fold, it still takes me time to decide which hand I want to play or not. Poker rocks. Love the game.

I love gambling at land based casinos, but there aren't any close to me, and sometimes I just don't want to make the drive, so I started looking for slots online. I love it...maybe too much. I signed up at any casino who would give me a free chip, and made the play through a few times and cashed out. I also had a bad experience with Sloto Cash several years ago. I cashed out at $600 but never saw the money. They made every excuse in the world. I finally gave up, and they banned me from the casino. Good thing because I was going to cancel my account.

How far are you from Winstar?

And too bad you weren't a member of NDF back then. We'd have helped you out with Slotocash.

I'm 270 miles from Winstar, and I haven't visited it yet. I have been to Riverwind and loved it. My husband and I will head up to OKC and casino hop. So much fun!

Our former moderator, Sookie, would drive from Arlington, TX to the Winstar pretty often. There are no casinos in TX so she would make the 85 mile drive. Maybe there is one Indian casino in TX?

Yes there is only one casino in Texas. The closest one to me is 65 miles and I don't like it either. The closest one I do like is about 100 miles

Thanks gang: Living close to a big casino is a lot of fun. Of course I am a regular there. I get free hotel rooms, free food, and free money to play.
Yes, look up the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant Michigan. You will see I have a really nice place to go for gambling.

I have three casino resorts here in Tucson, AZ ranging from 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 45 minutes from where I live. I can't remember the last time I visited any one them.

The last landbased casino I went to was the Hard Rock in Tampa, FL. And before that in Vegas.

I think trips to my local casinos are in my future.
