    Each year thousands of people flock to Las Vegas. It's the city that never sleeps. There's something for everyone! Some come for the sights and activities while others come strictly to gamble. Whatever your reason for visiting, it's sure to be a trip you will not soon forget. Here are some interesting facts about Sin City!

    - Every year close to 80,000 people move to Las Vegas. Hopefully, a large number are moving away as well.

    - Nearly 120,000 couples get married each year in Vegas. No wonder it's called the Wedding Capital of the World.

    - The Vegas Strip had it's first topless show in the year 1957. The Dunes was the first casino to feature topless showgirls.

    - In 1955 the Moulin Rouge was the first racially integrated hotel. In 1971 the Silver Slipper became the first casino that employed female dealers. Both the Moulin Rouge and the Silver Slipper changed history and Vegas.

    - Bugsy Siegel named the Flamingo Casino after his showgirl girlfriend, who had beautiful long legs.

    - The Bellagio Hotel has more rooms than people residing in Bellagio, Italy.

    - Entrepreneur and billionaire Howard Hughs moved to Vegas so he wouldn't have to pay taxes. He ended up staying 2 years at the Dunes Hotel. Finally, management asked him to leave due to his never-ending demands. Shortly after, Howard purchased the Dunes along with several other Vegas casinos and hotels. I think management learned their lesson!

    - There are over 200,000 total slot machines in Vegas! That's 1 slot machine for every 8 residents!

    - When tourist visit Vegas they stay for an average of 3.3 days! If you are planning on gambling on your trip the average amount spent is $485.00.

    - An astonishing 40,000 million people visit Sin City, also known as Las Vegas each year.

    - Of those 40,000 million visitors, 17% of them are international tourist.

    - There are over 150,000 hotel rooms in Las Vegas. If you wanted to stay in each room it would take you over 400 years to accomplish this goal.

    - If you looked at Las Vegas from outer space it would be seen as the brightest city in the world.
