land based freeplay

Last week thursday I needed to get some quick money until I received my online winnings ( I got them all today, HOORAY). I received a freeplay newsletter from Wheeling Island in WV. each week I had a coupon for $120 freeplay plus a couple coupons for an extra $45 in points. I live about 21/2 hours away from the casino. I had a feeling to jump in the car and go. So I did. Went in and played my promo on the slot survivor for 15 minutes and walked out of the casino with $341 without spending one cent except for $20 in gas to get there.  Usually I would just stay there and blow it trying to earn more.  I really surprised myself, and I was proud of myself for leaving the casino so fast. Who else would drive 150 miles 21/2 hrs away ( actually 300 miles and 5 hrs drive roundtrip). on just a gut feeling and stay in a casino for 15 minutes and leave. The shit you do for a thrill and a little money, LOL. I guess thats what makes us gamblers awesome.

That is what makes the difference between a successful gambler and a losing gambler.KNOWING WHEN TO QUIT!!! And you did.Excellent deal tking1.I too get free money from land based casinos, and I use it wisely. For example if I get $20 free, and I make even double off of it, that is a win win situation, and I pack up and go home. Thanks for sharing your awesome experience with us.                                                                                                Pam

HOORAY for your online winnings and a bigger HOORAY for having such discipline at the land based. I'm glad it worked out in your favor, tking. WTG!I, on the other hand, would have stayed and blown more than the $20 you spent in gas and left, in need of more money to tie me over than I did before I got there.

It was probably more than that I had gas in the tank and $20 filled the tank, so probably $30 worth of gas, LOL. I drive a Ford escort, but my van would have taken $100.thanks for the congrats everyone
