Mohegan Sun Casino

Believe it or not, I live only 10 miles from the Mohegan Sun in Pa.   and my very first visit  was this past Saturday February 28,2009.    I had no desire to go as I enjoy playing slots online at my favorite casino's.    My husband and I were extremely dissappointed.   It's a beautiful casino inside but  slots suck  . I literally mean it.   The most we hit was a$ 25.00  win after hundreds of dollars, in only 3 hours.  The kicker in the butt  is  we didn't even enjoy ourselves, as the machines weren't even giving back anything to play with.  Putting  $100.00 IN A MACHINE  LASTED A  WHOLE 10 MINUTES on $1 MACHINE?   You have to watch this too.   They have penny machines and nickels, but on the penny machine hitting max bet to win the  jackpot was $3 per bet, and this is not a progressive!  So why play pennies, play dollars at $3 per bet.   The nickel machines was betting 90 nickels  to win jackpot so $4.50 per bet and no jackpot.   I am better off sticking to my online slots  I don't care how close it is.  I doubt I'll ever go again.   Was it a bad day there, I doubt it.   I  saw everyone pumping in dollars constantly and no DING DINGS  .   Everyone was ignorant as they walked by and almost knocked me over but myn hubby caught me...lol  Good luck if you do try it.   People online are so much friendlier, I sincerely mean this.

I too know what you mean.....I live only 1 1/2 hours away from the Turning Sone Casino in upstate N.Y. I will only allow myself $300.00 to play the slots if it goes, it goes and i'm done. What is nice about the casino is they always comp us very nice by giving us $50.00 a week in free play and a free nights stay. We really go just to get away, leaving with lighter pockets. At this casino there are no BELLS OR RINGS or Coin sounds, for it has all turned into plastic cards that you insert, kinda miss the whole VEGAS feeling.....I too would rather play online.

Thats interesting. Thank you ring and lyndalou. Here in calif. we have the indian casinos and I have one friend that goes on a regular basis and has come home with good wins. Course I don't know how much she put in and she has had a couple of car accidents coming back from them. Its in mountain area and she went over the embankment I guess. Last I heard she was still going. Thats dedication. LOL. It's enough to lose some money but my car too? Yikes. See ya online.

I play at one here in the UK if I have a spare few quid. I have played on a machinefrom 10.30pm till kicking out time at 6.00am with the same £20. On another occasion, I put in a £10 note at walked out with £720 a few hours later. Admitedly, I have lost in there, more often than not, but I've always had a good play on all the slots in there. Maybe the percentage payouts are higher over here? The one big advantage is that you can grab your winnings immediately, and not have to wait 7 or 8 days, and have to pay to get them sent through. Maybe it just wasn't your night

I personally have more luck at landbased casino's here in MN. I typically walk home with more than I came with.....I get there once a year, so spend much more online. I have talked to a few folks who have been recently and are totally bummed...Slots so darn tight. BJ players had better luck.
