Well isn't that nice for you Sarah and Whiskey. Not so easy for me. When they outlawed smoking in bars here a few years ago, I quit drinking. No problem. LOL! (but true)

I started smoking when I was 16yrs. old and really wish I hadn't. However, I enjoy smoking. Pretty sick eh? I would love to quit cold turkey but am afraid of doing 25yrs or more.lol"

well i am a smoker but i don't know why i don't quit, when i am pregnant i give up not a problem but when i have had the baby i take it back up well i am 36 and i have smoked now off an on since i was 13 and i have children and i am a better person and stronger person than the cigarette life it offers me so i am quiting for good and i have to set an example for my children i have a 15 y o daughter whom has smoked and quit after many lectures from me and after our last fight she called me a hypocrite as i smoke but wouldn't allow her too well she is right and i can't let her have that on me. so my early christmas present to my family is to throw away the cigarettes and give myself and them a better quality of life....

I smoke; have for 35+ years. Tried Chantix, and if you use it, BE CAREFUL! I don't drink, 'cept a sip of hubby's wine or beer, and when I did just that, here recently, I reacted HELLA-WEIRD!! Tried to jump out of a moving car, screaming like a maniac, yada, yada, yada. Do not take it with any other anti-depressants, or without a watcher, you know, a friend that tells youn when you've had enough, etc.

Oh great , drugs addicts will have another thing to try doing, sounds almost like a really bad acid trip.  I can see the 20/20 segment now.

I am in the medical field also. I don't have as high as a license as either of you 2 but I am licensed! You would think that being involved in a medical profession it would deter us, but it doesn't so it seems."
