After a frigid morning, it warmed up to 31 today. It seriously felt balmy compared what we have had for the last couple of weeks.

I almost felt happy....then....as things usually go in my life, downhill, the wind started. Gusts up to 25 mph. Cold cold cold wind from Canada.

I'd like to tell Canada what to do with their weather. LOL

Weather man is talking about snow on Christmas eve, Christmas Day. Pretty to see if you don't have to drive.

Most days around here have been in the 20's and below and it hasn't even had the decency to snow. I had hoped for a white Christmas but it looks like it plans on getting all the way up to 50 that day so all we will see is rain :(

21 degrees. Still no snow. They told us we would get some last night but they lied.

Can those of you who have snow and do not want it, please send it my way

I saw your video. Not exactly a blizzard, but more than we get here...
(Except for every 60 or 70 years anyway)

The first year I was here, we were on the freeway in Dallas at like 4 or 5 am, coming home from a night at the casino in Oklahoma and it began to snow. I mean REALLY snow. It came out of no where, you could barely see the car in front of you and the road disappeared in front of our eyes. I'm pretty sure that was a blizzard.

You should have seen the way all the other cars behaved it was so weird. Immediately every car and semi truck around us moved to the middle of the 5 lane freeway we were on and formed two "made up lanes". The weird part is everyone did it with no communication, like they were all part of a hive mind.

Everyone except us that is, we stayed where we were and continued forward at a safe speed, but all the other cars and one big truck started blasting their horns at us like we were maniacs or something. This of course made us even more determined not to join their bizarre impromptu conga line.

A true January thaw here in Michigan. Highs around 40-44. A little rain.
Night time is serious fog, and slippery black ice as the temp drops below freezing.
You get what you get. Stay happy everyone.

Oh the forecast is a pleasant one for the next four days. Spring like temps in the 50's and plenty of sunshine.
I and the rest of Michiganders are so ready for this. Seriously the sun goes days and days without shining, and the cold temps are frigid on your skin.
Many folks who live here suffer from depression caused by no sunlight for so long. Crazy stuff.

Anyway, Hoping the weather is starting to improve where you are too. C'mon Spring, we are READY for you.

Still nice and warmer here in Michigan. High today of 51, and sunny.

Nice till Friday...then the bottom falls out. High of 35 on Saturday with snow flurries. I can't imagine why my sinuses hurt. haha.
