Some things are worth waiting for. And some things take so long...

Besides not sending out checks any longer there are some slightly unpleasant feelings about cashing out at Cleo's. Having Christmas and New year's holidays extending the process, or any weekend days or any holidays, actually, greatly extends the process.

Depositing is super easy, with visa, mc, amex all working fine.

For withdrawals, I only have one option, bank wire. No fees!
They don't store your withdrawal info for you like they do your deposit info. Support is very supportive, but can be a little dense at times.

Before you can start the process you need to have ID info on file plus their agreement form. Not too big of an issue but they send you the standard email requesting everything and you have to write back and make sure you are correct that you don't have to resend.

They state you only need a tax form if you are receiving $600+ but that's not how it works out. EVERY time you have to send one in. And don't put tomorrow's date on it! For me this is an issue. I don't have a printer and can't just print it out and email it. And I have no car or ride to town whenever I need to go.

Withdrawals are a five step pro, after winning. Request, Approval, Processing, Sending, and Receiving. A successful request involves asking for it and sending in paperwork and don't forget to also send to Virtual Spree! Might cost you some days.

Once they feel satisfied with your request, approval is fast. But it could take a few days for your request to be successfully completed. Let's say you are prepared and it's all over in a day. Or, you weren't prepared and hit snags and now 7 days went by already.

Once approved, it takes "5-12" business days to be processed. They must be extremely busy. Not weekends, not holidays. That's their story. So, you get processed. In theory, that should be a day or less.
Cleo's processes then VS does the sending. Bank wire, but somehow UPay gets to do that.

UPay then takes hmmm, a few days (no holidays or weekends) before you receive your bank wire.

The FAQ is 3-5 days. And they say that's depending on the bank.

So, minimum it should all take maybe two weeks.

Here are two of my timelines. The first got snagged a week getting a proper request to them. The next one, well, while I was writing this, it hit my bank.

    Request. Sept 20
    Approval. Sept 30
    Processed. October 20
    Sent. October 20!
    Received. October 24

    Request. December 10
    Approval. December 10!
    Processed. December 29
    Sent. January 3
    Received. January 5

Spent, about a day after winning. Scrambling and juggling, ongoing....

I am super liking their slot selection. So much so that I keep playing even knowing how long I will have to endure patience to get my payout.

I also like the variety of options of games and perks like jackpots vs. Raffles, with mobile, instant play, and downloaded versions.

I hope you can play, and win, and be better prepared for withdrawals by this long post!

been a long time since i won the $700.
in october i had to play on my android so had to play the jackpot slots and was about to crash when i won over $400 and managed to make playthrough with around $2oo left.

these last two, i pretty much spent more than the close to $200 I won.

once won over $300 on a $5 free chip.

Played nickel spins on Sasquatch Cash and kept getting good free spins. was able to get that up to $1 spins and got three rows of Sasquatch wilds.

keep trying, or. give me money and i'll try for you!

Were you able to cash out on that $300?

Some time back. I had taken a $10 free chip up around $650.

After a bunch of hoops I had to jump through. Which included going to copy shop and spending money to print out, fill out, copy id / billing info and sending back. Shortly after I log in to see where I stood.

What had been "Approved" , but was "Processing". Suddenly disappeared. No payment had been made, no notifications or email received and I no longer had a balance. Now $0.00 balance.

After a day or so of trying to figure out what happened. They finally stated that the winnings were void due to "Hedge betting".

No, it's not what you're thinking....

According to them, one of the definitions of "Hedge betting" was "wagering 1/10th or more of the free chip on a single bet". I believe that rule was also in effect on a deposit amount as well.

What really bothered me about the whole deal. Was that I had spent money I could not afford to spend (at the time). On getting the required documents to them and they didn't bother to notify me when or why it did not go through.

I would have thought that if I could not cash out. they should have known before we (on both sides) wasted so much time and effort.

    Anyway, that was my experience.

So you were not allowed to bet $1 (or more) while playing the $10 free chip? And I am assuming that rule stands until you make playthrough. That's ridiculous. And if it applies to deposits, well then I need to quit playing there.

Like I said it was some time back. So I would check the T&C's. It is possible that they may have changed since then.

Also, I recommend that before an attempt at cashing out at any gaming site. That people print out the T&C's at that time. Since some places have rules pop up that we were unaware of when it comes time to cash out. Eliminate any questions you may have about them before there is an issue.

Yes you are correct about not being able to wager $1 or more on the $10 free chip.

There was also a time requirement on the chip. Relative to 3 days to clear the playthrough. Which made it difficult to clear. Maybe that's why they had no max cashout on free chips (at least at the time).

    Good to know. Thanks. :)

I guess it all comes down to how you set your wager up. I wouldn't do it on a $10 chip, but I'm sure there are people who go for it and would place the whole $10 on one spin. And if they got super lucky, that could be a nice payout. And if they built that up, well hence the reason why max bet and even max cashout rules are needed I suppose. So the casino isn't taken to the cleaners.

I would start off at .25 cent wagers if I had $10 at Cleos. But if I built that up, sure I would up my bets and make $1+ wagers. And if I won enough for a cashout, I'd get it taken away because I didn't know the rules. Ugh. lol I mean I know there are max bet rules at casinos. I had no idea that they had a time limit though.

Good information! Thanks orren and Mben.

I don't play at Cleo's anymore, but I do always appreciate learning what and how the casinos are handling players now days.

That's exactly what I had done. Start off with $0.25 spins and worked my way up.

At some point I even got up to $15-$20 bets. Still, it took a long time to clear the wagering req's.

I mention it because I can't imagine how long it would have taken to clear only being able to wager less than $1 per bet. Especially because that means I couldn't have played any table games. Which is were near half of the playthrough was done.

Sucks because I enjoy the games they have very much. It's too bad it didn't work out. They would have received way more than my cashout amount in deposits if it had.

Was fun while it lasted at least.

I was able to cash out after winning and placing $1 bets, no problem. I have never encountered a denial from Cleo's after making a playthrough requirement.
But, it's always good to know the requirements. Sometimes it is not easy to understand them when you put them all together, but that's happening everywhere.
If you aren't having fun, definitely don't play.
