I am having problems playing any RTG casinos on all my computers.  Is anyone else having this problem? I can not figure it out.  Keep getting this error:  It appears the download sever is not available please try again later. This is all RTG casinos.  Anyone know how to fix this?

slotgal, I am able to run and log into RTG's this morning, though they seem to be loading a bit slower. I may need a reboot to really check if it's me or the casinos. Have you done anything different to your computer lately? Added new software, updated anti-virus?

I have no idea if this is even related, but about a week ago, every RTG casino I opened flagged my anti virus to give me a pop up warning. It is still doing it as of this morning. I didnt change any settings in my anti virus, so I dont know why suddenly things are being flagged from RTG.I close out the pop -up, and am still able to play them, but I thought it worth mentioning.                                                                            Pam

I'm back after a reboot and they are still loading a bit slower.I am pretty sure that they did go through some update because the message I use to get when the games would try and download (games I hadn't opened yet) the error message I get (I always get an error message because of my internet connection. That's my issue) is different, I noticed. If this is all related, let's hope they push another update to fix it. I think we should wait it out a couple of days and see if it does get fixed. Thanks for that disabling the resident shield tip, mlkman.

Well I am glad it is not just me. Mine started out with a simple error message and then the more I tried to play after closing error window it got to where it would not let me do anything. I am running Avast antivirus also. I tried to download Spybot and ran it, and a registry cleaner too. None of them found any virus or anything. But Avast keeps popping up a trojan virus was blocked but there is noting to worry about. So don't know what to do. I just wrote the casino because I did some research on Google and sure enough other people has had the problem and in one case the casino walked them through the process to remove the error message. So as a last resort I emailed the casino, hopefully I will find the fix and I will post it here if I can. Thanks everyone!

This means I will have to do every RTG this way. I did get a cd from Intertops last week, maybe this is why. Maybe everyone is going to start experiencing this issue. Hubby is having same problem on his laptop and we have same internet service but we use wireless on our laptops. I will be back if it works and let everyone know either way.

It was fine when I disabled Avast and uninstalled RTG casino software and reinstalled with it off. Didn't have to turn off the firewall at all. As soon as I turned anti-virus back on it started all over again. There is no way I want to turn off the best anti-virus I have had in years, so don't know what to do about this now. Got to run but I will be back, hopefully someone here will have a better solution. Thanks everyone!!

slotgal, I haven't done anything to my PC or casinos since I left earlier and after checking a few right now, they are all opening normal for me. How are they on your end?

Sorry, been gone for awhile. I can open casino, then antivirus warning pops up saying they stopped a trojan from loading, which is my normal warnings with this antivirus when there is some kind of threat. Then I can click on a game but it will not load at all. Casino is saying if I have problems to uninstall antivirus altogether, but I won't do that because I will be at risk and there is no other antivirus as good as Avast. I have had no computer shut downs in years since I've used this antivirus until this little episode. So I guess I will just have to play on their website, which does not have all the games. Thanks for asking Mben.

How can they tell people to uninstall their anti-virus just to play at their casinos? That's absurd! Don't they realize we do other things with our PC's than just gamble online? lol For real though. I would write them back and tell them that is not an acceptable option for you and for them to contact RTG and have them fix whatever it is they broke.

I'm having the same issue with AVAST not letting me download any games. It started after I updated my anti virus software...

This is the response I got from casino...We apologize for this inconvenience. We have contacted RTG and they are working on a way around this. In the meantime however the only way is to deactivate your antivirus, which is blocking our features. We can guarantee that our software has no malicious viruses.

OH! Well, that's altogether different. I didn't know that they guaranteed it!:laughhard:

 PSPSo it's starting to sound like they are blaming the anti-virus and since 3 of you have Avast, maybe it's not the casinos at all?Anyway, good news that they let RTG know what's going on and hopefully they fix it soon for all you Avast users. :thumb:

I never told them what antivirus I use, but I guess they can tell, don't know if they can or not. Maybe they will get it fixed soon.

For almost a week now, RTG casinos have been acting wacky on both my desktop and laptop. I can't get them to install on either without an error message and a threat alert from my anti-virus.The casinos I did have installed on my laptop won't open either. As soon as I click on the icon, I get a threat message from the anti-virus and then a windows message that The shortcut is not working. You want to get rid of it? (not Microsofts words lol) I'm like What? It was working a week ago! lolAnyway, it looks like it's still a mess with RTG's.

And I use AVG also, kk. What did you end up replacing it with? Was it free?
