Legalization of internet gambling was going to hitch a ride onto a financial reduction measure bill proposed by lawmakers in the US. That was the hopes of people for legalizing online gambling anyway. Now it doesn't look like it will happen and not because they could not get the measure attached but because the financial reduction Super Committee may not transpire at all and may get squashed Monday. Don't let this discourage you though. There are enough people who now know online poker or gambling can only help the US economy that hearings will continue with a light at the end of the tunnel.
