How do you see the game?

Tbh, I am furious. This game has taken up so much of my time, it is ridiculous.I have tried everything and just keep getting beat down by variance. I swear. I have had AA and KK cracked everyday for about 4 months.Seriously. If I play the hand perfect vs a ****ing idiot, they ALWAYS win.Literally seriously, 100% honestly, even if I could see their hands, I couldnt win.How is anyone supposed to make a living from that? I dont understand it AT all.I cant make $500 in a 25nl game when all I need to do is sit there and stack top pair, yet durrrr, PA etc. are consistent yearly winners, playing vs some of the toughest competetion in the world. To me, its just mind boggling, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND this game anymore.People just seem to whatever they want, play backwards ffs and still just show down the nuts every hand!?How do you view it? Is it very slow, not many flops, do you feel like you are being run over and everytime you play back they have the ****ing NUTS!?Is it like, you feel you know what they are doing yet they cant be exploited? They just keep calling when your light and keep folding when your nutted. Its been 50k+ hands and **** is just ****ed.What do I do?

Hello New Member.......I have moved your post from Winning Screenshots to General Discussion. As far as your post, I apologize, I know very little of poker terms and even less about the game.  I am hoping we can get some response for you from some poker players out there. My only advice to you at this point, is getting away from the game.  Doesnt sound at all like you enjoy it anymore, and it doesnt sound like your being successful at it right now.I mean no disrespect by my statement, but we here at NDF are honest with eachother and in our responses.  If I was playing a particular game, and it was making me feel the way your post says you feel, I would consider getting away from the game for a short time.  Use that time to sharpen your skills and perhaos try it again at a later date with some new ideas. Thanks for the post.                                                                                                Pam

i hoped u raised those 2 hands 10X the blinds, u want only 1 caller on those hands. u let multiple callers in on any of those hands it decreases ur chance of winning. all i want someonw to do when i have a hand like that is reraise me and i'll push my whole stack in. those are 2 hand there that  i'll try to get it all in the pot. u have to raise on these hands or u will let a donkey limp in and u'll get busted

Indeed!joenblack879, online poker is VERY different than playing live. Since it's very difficult to read your opponent's tells since you can't actually see them, luck and bravado play a much bigger part in the game - mostly luck. You asked in another thread about tricks for being successful with online poker. It's a little tough for many (most) of us to answer because players in the US can't play online anymore. If anything, your live play experience will work against you. You can't justify your fear that you're being bluffed, so in most cases you're more likely to fold rather than take the chance. Even if you do make the call, like mlkmn5029 said, you're up against someone willing to roll the dice with a crap hand - and you never know what will happen. The best experience that you can get isn't playing for money - it's playing for points through the poker site from Facebook. It will acclimate you to the insanity that is online poker.Sad, but true...

Bodog still accepts players from the USA and they have a casino also. RTG software. seems like their casino hits better than the other RTG sites, but it does have its dry spells:cigar:

There are several online sites that take american players, doyles room, carbon poker, cake poker, poker host are a few I've played on. When it comes to online poker if I get a big hand like AA or KK I just go all in because you even raise big and can't believe people still call, but it seems to work better for me in the long run.Brenda
