i HIT 3 jackpots in less then 24 hrs last wk. Emailed a complaint yet again about how my game are playing. Was told my games had been checked and had been winning at 96%. That's below what all sites I've read state their win percentage is. This sucks. I did get my chip for last wk though. So what's going on when something like this happens at a casino. Is there anything you can do to complain about your money you've put in? Another site said technical issues. What would that mean?

The owners have been arrested for illegal activities involving stocks. Because of that, the feds went even further which resulted in their casino operations being shut down. Offices were raided, accounts are frozen, servers are shut down.

All of that means ..... their doors are closed. There will be no transactions going in or coming out, players have no one to complain to, innocent casino employees are out of paychecks, affiliates are out of commissions and players expecting cashouts will not see them.

It's a done deal. Players just have to move on.

I heard that Mermaids Palace and the 2 sister sites are closed but their systems are still taking deposits but not paying out!
We blacklisted that casino group and stopped promoting them earlier this year so I can't say that surprises me.

I am just curious if in an instance such as this if you are using say a bank debit card or a credit card couldnt you contact your bank or your credit card provider and tell them the services paid for were not rendered and potentially get your money back from however many days you are allowed to dispute charges that are not valid on your card acct?
Im just curious as I could see that being feasible because the site is not providing the service you are paying for them to render at this point so... Other than the whole in the US part of it could that be possible?

The whole point of the UIGEA is ... The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 "prohibits gambling businesses from knowingly accepting payments in connection with the participation of another person in a bet or wager that involves the use of the Internet and that is unlawful under any federal or state law.

Would you contact your bank and tell them that you did not receive services paid for at an online casino? I wouldn't. I have no problem telling my internet company that I can't get into a casino because of internet problems which I have in recent days, but I'd never tell my bank that an online casino took my money and didn't render services. I don't know if there would be trouble between me and the bank, but I wouldn't want to find out.

I think I would actually go to the bank and get my money back. But that would only be possible if their account wouldn't be frozen and I got a solid reason for it. Have gotten my money back from other things like this as well in the past. However I guess it would be a different matter if I would be living in the US.

Ahhh, yes ... residing in the States changes a whole lot of things for those who gamble online. Being an online gambler, you're lucky to not live here, I suppose.

I believe, this sudden closing of these casinos would have affected the pockets of many customers. What was the need to cheat customers here? Probably, this is the reason why gambling is still illegal in most of the nations. Anyways… thanks for the update.

I suppose "the need" was "greed", Stan.

I think going to the bank to cancel the transaction you made to that casino might be possible if you reported with 24hrs. But if you report it more than 24hrs I don't know if it still possible. This is the reason why I always have second toughs on not so popular online casino's. You will never know if it's illegal or not, if they are paying or not yes they have super attractive bonuses but the biggest question is "Do they pay?".
