This week, Iowa's State Senate will be voting on a bill to legalize online poker within the state. In 2011 the same type of bill passed their Senate but did not get the approval of the House. If the bill becomes law, 21 land based casinos that hold state licenses would be able to license internet poker sites. The states of Nevada and New Jersey signed into law (online poker) within the last couple of weeks with Delaware being the first state to do so.
