Just found my poor puppy, Sugar in the garage. She died peacefully in her sleep. She was 15 yrs old and we had here since she was 6 weeks old. Am so very sad. She was a purebread white shephard. She quit eating 2 days ago, so knew she wasn't well. I am home by myself....so called my son and he is coming here with my daughter to bury her! She will be so missed! Thanks for letting me share. Feel a bit better now.

Oh Kitty - How sad. I am so sorry for your loss. I know there is not much one can say but maybe this will comfort you a little. The Rainbow Bridge When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...God Bless Sugar. Lori

So sorry to hear of your friends passing KK. Only animal lovers can understand the bond between a dear pet and their owner. We have a cat named Bigboy, he is over 14 yrs old, and weighs over 30lbs. I held him and his brother in my hand when we found them abandoned by their mother.  How true that even though it's best, as we would never want them to suffer, losing them is never easy! Know you are in my thoughts!

I know exactly what your feeling. We lost our precious Cubby just before last Christmas. He also stopped eating. Vet said he had cancer. He was 13 years old. He lasted one week and died. Glad I didn't have to bring him in to Vet to say good bye. He died at home. "
    So sorry! "
