Playing A Slot Machine Led To A Broken Neck

Playing slot machines in Las Vegas casinos can cause your wallet to take a beating. However, playing Las Vegas casino slots in a local convenience store should never lead to a broken neck. In a recent report posted on the PlaySlots4RealMoney dot com website, an accident at a Las Vegas 7-Eleven store resulted in three people getting injured, including a man being pinned underneath a slot machine. This unfortunate accident also led to a local woman getting charged with a felony DUI. This all took place early Sunday morning on June 3 at a 7-Eleven convenience store located at 1805 E. Tropicana Ave. Lula Jack was arrested when she crashed her vehicle into the front of the store. One man was found trapped underneath a store slot machine, another person had their foot ran over and a third party suffered some bodily injuries from getting hit by falling debris in the crash. This was all documented in the PlaySlots4RealMoney dot com post as well as in the police report for the 53-year old woman who was taken into custody at the scene of the crime.

The man who was pinned under the slot machine apparently broke his neck, but all indications is that his injuries were not life-threatening. Jack claimed that her brakes had failed when pulling into a parking spot in front of the store early on that Sunday morning. She told police that she had only consumed one beer before getting behind the wheel, but an on-site breath test registered at 0.98 which is well above the legal level of 0.08 in the state of Nevada. The report goes on to mention that Jack was then booked into the Clark County Detention Center on one count of ‘driving under the influence resulting in substantial bodily harm’. Her bail was set at $50,000 and she remained in custody at the time of this post. A preliminary hearing on this case has been scheduled for June 19.

There was no mention of the severity of the injuries to the other two parties, but as relayed in this report, the man that was pinned underneath the slot machine was expected to recover.

Playing slot machines is the major source of revenue for most Las Vegas casinos. They have also brought an added boost to the tax revenue generated from playing slots in other public places outside the realm of a real money casino. Slot machines and other forms of casino-style gambling are an integral of the fabric of life in a town such as Las Vegas, so it easy to see why they are located all over the place. You would think that playing slots very early on a Sunday morning in a local 7-Elevan would be one of the more safer environments for real money gambling. You would also expect that no one would be drunk enough to crash their car through the front window of that store at that time of the day. That is unless that person had been drinking all night long before stepping out to get their morning coffee.

Nothing ever good comes out of drinking and driving.

The thing that irks me is that when someone drinks and drive, they always hurt someone other than themselves. This lady hurt 3 innocent people. Doesn't say, but she likely had no injuries at all.

You wanna drink and drive? Go and risk your own life, but it is the innocent people that get caught up in the disaster that upset me off. Minding your own business, and BAM!

Yes, I'm a bit vocal about this subject. My Mother was minding her own business, and she was killed by a drunk driver.

I share your mind set, without the personal experience though. I can definitely see why you would feel that way PMM. I'm sorry you had to go through that experience though.
