Do you have the +1 set up for the entire website, by forum, or just by thread? I'm only seeing the +1 on this thread - when I sign-in or go on the General Discussion forum page, it still shows 0

it works on each individual post and the main page, as technically each post is a seperate site in googles eyes

If you are using IE and do not see the Plus 1 button, the fix is to update your IE browser to IE9.http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Webmasters/thread?tid=4c0aae14c7ed00ed&hl=enI went to update mine from IE8 to IE 9 (wondering why I hadn't already) and found that IE9 is not supported on Win XP. Yes, I still use XP on my destop. I love it and don't want to upgrade my whole OS just to upgrade IE. I love Chrome and will never go back to being an IE user.
