Possible Things to Do If I Can't Gamble..........(For my friends in the USA)1. Save Money2. Wash my car3. Clean under the refrigerator4. Take my clothes to the dry cleaners5. Buy an Xbox.6. Read a book.7. Practice my guitar8. Walk my dog.9. Go workout.10.  Start a journal. Hi Gang: It has been quite a couple of months in the online gambling world.  Starting with the poker sites being seized by the government, and then just recently QT having the troubles it is having.I'm not happy about these changes.  I think many of you join me when I say I just want to be able to spend my money the way I want to. The feeling that the powers that be can literally stop us in our tracks is scary.I've been thinking back the last few days. Not long ago, about 7 months, I brought home my greatest win ever from online gambling from Platinum Play Casino.  I know many of you were enjoying Microgaming at that time too.Nothing could of prepared us for what was coming.  Sites shut down, money frozen, and processors running scared.  For me personally, I am anxious, irritated that it has come to this, and I miss playing at my favorite sites.  I am scared and worried for my friends out there who have money tied up and dont know if they will ever see it.I just wanted to make a thread where members can share their opinions and feelings about what is going on.                                                                                                                                               Pam

PamI agree its the craziest thing, some of the other things that people can pay for online and it's ok and we can't play poker or spin a slot, all politics and they always think they are smarter than us and can tell us how we should spend our money. I know I have pretty much quit depositing money and have been playing all freerolls and free money chips, I noticed the casinos are slowing down on these too but at least if you win on those if something happens where you can't cash out it sucks but you don't lose your own money.Luckily I have a casino an hour from where I live so I can go there every once in awhile.I have a feeling it will get legalized but don't know how long it will take.Brenda

Brenda....I thank you for your reply.  I appreciate members responding to threads like this as it helps other members too.Your so right about what we can buy online these days.   Isnt it insane we can do all these things yet no way can we spin a slot game.  It's a damn shame we get told in a round about way we are not smart enough to decide how to spend our own money.  It is irritating as hell.I too think it will get legalized, and taxed, so the powers that be get their share as they do in everything, but just how much, and I just wish they would hurry the heck up about it.                                                                              Pam

Here's my thought ...There is WAAAAY too much money involved with online gaming for these folks to just walk away. These are very smart guys (and gals). They'll figure out some way around this predicament sooner rather than later. In the meantime, consider this a vacation - or at worst case an intervention by someone you really don't like. Use their money to go to rehab, but party like a maniac while you are there This too shall pass!(or Jesus will come back on Saturday and then we're all screwed ) I'm betting (pun intended) that all will be back to normal VERY soon!

Thanks PSP. I sure hope your right. I agree there are some very smart folks out there who have kept this online gaming going for as long as it has. There just has to be another way to get us playing again.                                                                                                Pam
