FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MAY HAVE SEEN TODAY'S DOTD 3/7/15 AND RAN INTO SCRIPT ERRORS WHEN TRYING TO CLAIM THE FREE CHIP AND ARE COMING BACK ON TO THE FORUM NOW FOR AN UPDATE ONLY TO FIND THE THREAD GONE, HERE IS THE UPDATE ...

I have been instructed by the rep to pull the offer until the issue is resolved. Being that it is Saturday, he does not think that it will be fixed quickly.

I have asked if we can run it on a different day once tech support fixes the issue.

The rep has informed me that we will run it on a different day.

Yeah, he feels awful that on our first go with a casino in his group went bad.

And I feel bad too because I knew members were going to be excited about this deal today.

But like you said, it's not anyone's fault.

It's all good.
As a former Mod, I guess I know the other side of the job somewhat well, and know all to well this stuff can get a hiccup.
We have terrific loyal members here, they will feel like I do, be patient for the next try, and the lynch mob will not be necessary. :biglol:

I'm not saying our rep didn't get in touch with their tech dept, but I just got off the phone with chat support and finally got him to see what I was trying to explain in multiple emails back and forth with support all day today.

He tested a fake code on his end and received a script error.

My steps ...

I uninstalled and reinstalled - same
Updated my Java - same
Tested it on my PC's downloaded version, instant play in my browser, my cell phone's browser and then shut my cell phone wi-fi off and tried in their mobile casino - same

So I went to another WGS casino and tested a fake code and I received an "invalid code" popup. This is what we want. (really we want "congrats" lol)

I've done all I can to try and get a fix but it is now really up to them.

Sorry again, folks.

It's weird that you mention "script errors", I have started to get those when I log onto Miami recently...don't know what they mean, I'm able to bypass it and login, just that it was a hmmmmm.

Yes the script errors don't seem to be stopping anyone from logging in that I've heard of yet, however they preventing everyone who tried from entering a code in the cashier :(
