Reno Nevada Vacation

I'm flying to Reno,Nevada for 4 days next week.We are renting a car.I was wondering if anyone who has been there can suggest fun things to do,places to see,or restaurants....etc.Anything would be helpful.Thanks!

OMG, I love Reno!  I lived there for a while before moving back East.  I'm sure the gambling scene has changed in the 13 yrs I've been gone, but make sure you drive over to see Lake Tahoe & the casinos at South Shore.

Also, down in Carson City is an old silver mine you can tour (at least you *could*), and historical Virginia City up in the mountains past there is a kick!

I stayed at the downtown Hilton...Had a blast and walked home with $1500.00 playing nickel slots!! Been years ago though!! GL GL to you and hope you have a blast!

Holly, if you do go to Lake Tahoe, which you have to since you are going to be so close, you have to do the Gondola ride they have at the Heavenly Ski resort. It is absolutely beautiful! That's the ski resort where Sonny Bono died. Not wanting to put a damper on your fun. lol But not funny really.
