RTG slot reels spinning too dam slowly?

When playing slots at RTG casinos, do you ever experience reels that spin super slow?...its like the slot machine needs a new set of batteries.  I hate it when this happens...its so boring to see every symbol on the reel clearly as it slowly passes by...its like watching paint on a wall as it dries up.I frequently come across this problem of slow spinning reels at the Club World Casinos, iNetBet, and Jackpot Capital.I emailed the managers of these casinos and asked them about this problem; and suggested they give all their slots a good lube job.  The only reply I received was from the manager of Club World Casinos.  He was well aware of this problem; and acknowledged that many of their players experienced the same slowly spinning reels, especially with the Real-Series Slots.  Even though he didn't know or offer an explanation of how this works, he suggested the following remedy:The reels will spin much faster if you have other applications open while playing.  He suggested Windows Media Player...And this totally fixed the problem!!  The media player doesn't have to be playing any music, just have the app open and minimized.Good Luck!

I found that if I have any of my email accounts open, AOL or Yahoo, in the background, the slots spin like they should at the RTG's.

For me, micro's slots run very smoothly.Have you tried having other applications open while playing?  Does it fix the problem?

Yeah, having my email account open in the background works too.  But I find that WindowMediaPlayer works best, the reels spin super fast...its like supercharged!I suggest people try different apps to see what works best on their computer.  On the flip side though, with Microgaming, having anything open, especially my email accounts, will slow down the reels.  Strange.

Totally agree about the MG's spinning slow. If I want to play a tourney, I will make sure that I have rebooted and shut down all apps before even launching the casino. I need all the help I can get to win a tourney."

I will give the media player trick a try. If you're talking TURBO, then I definitely want to try it out! Thanks!

I dont know if this is the same thing or not the reels spin forever for me. They go on and on. Not slow but never stop. So I sit and watch it and get dizzy.

I get that when I'm playing micro tourneys...That's one of the reasons I've given up on tourneys.
