Running programs as a user

Hi all. I'm new here and to online casinos. I have some geek questions so please bare with me.I notice that some casino programs can only be installed as an administrator. That is not the issue. The issue is that these programs seem to only function when run by an administrator. Is that the way these are expected to run?There is usually no hints or help in the programs on this topic. It is generally known that it is better to run programs as a user, and not safe to run programs as an administrator, especially one that has access to the net.

Maybe this is no help at all, But did you try to right click on casino icon or short cut>select run as..."
and make changes there?"
