silly question

So I'm pretty new to this site and I have a silly question. When you're doing a freeroll, like at GoCasino, and you somehow make it to the number 1 spot (no idea how that happened) and kinda have a fairly good lead, do you just stop playing and keep an eye on the scores even when there's like 30 or so minutes left?  Sorry, I would like to think I was brighter than this and to be able to figure this out on my own, but uh, no such luck. I guess I never was in a position to really have to know before.   Oh, and hi everyone! I'm Sara.  Been reading everyones posts for a little while now, and you guys are great.  Good people here.

Hi saraboi! I know you have heard that no question is a silly question before and it applies here too.

I am not an expert in winning tournaments at VT casinos or any casino for that matter but what I would do if I was in your position is I would stop and see what the other players above me are doing. If it looks like they have stopped and are sitting there waiting it out, I would too. Of course, if anyone below me moves ahead of me and I feel I have enough $$, time and luck I'll start spinning again. Look at your balance and the amount of the person below you and if there is a huge difference, you could possibly spin some more to maybe squeak ahead of someone above you if you are close enough to them. It's all up to you really and like I said, I am no expert but I have managed to win some in VT tournies.Any real experts care to help saraboi out? -- Edited by Mben on Thursday 21st of October 2010 11:04:44 PM

Hey thanks for the reply.  I did discover something tonight, regardless of where I'm at in the tournament ranking, I just really like to click my mouse...hence now #8 instead one #1.
