The popular payment processing firm Skrill has decided to halt transactions for online gambling activity for the foreseeable future.The change is anticipated as of January 2 of this coming year (2014). Transactions from merchants will end effective January 31.The company sent this notice to poker players and other online gamblers.Skrill will be notifying active gamblers next week and will also communicate this to its broader Canadian customer base.
