Donald Trump wants the US government to legalize online gambling and has set forth with a plan to create and online gaming site. Once he has that in place and the US does legallize internet gaming, then he is all set to bring in that money again. He feels that the US is losing a lot of money to other countries. Money that should stay in the USA. The Donald and his daughter, Ivanka, would own 10% of the new online venture. And in his opinion, his brand or name will bring success to gaming site. He stated We think we have the hottest brand there is, the Trump brand, my personal brand, he said. We think it's going to do phenomenally well. The Govenor of New Jersey had vetoed a bill that passed by their lawmakers that would have allowed internet gambling within the state bounderies. Robert Griffin, Donald Trump's company CEO, says that Currently, millions of Americans engage in online gaming with illegal offshore operators, and do so with no oversight, no regulation or no consumer protections.  Gov Christie vetoed the law believing it was unconstitutional and would lead to a mass amount of betting establishments in the state of New Jersey. One New Jersey lawmaker is stressing that each state has the legal right to allow online gambling within their own borders. Christies main concerns will be presented before legislation in November.
