Back in June of this year. the World Series of Poker reps planned a $1 million buy in tournament and it has come to be.22 players have already committed themselves to the most costly poker tournament to date. If 7 more players commit to the $1 million buy in, it would make the top payout the most ever. Even more than the 2006 event where Jamie Gold won $12 million. $8.89 million is the top prize right now at 22 players and that already beats Pius Heinz's top prize win by $173,000 which he won last month. This is going to be one great tournament to watch as the stakes are so high! -- Edited by Mben on Wednesday 7th of December 2011 11:09:42 AM
