Has anyone had a similar problem

I received my check from Slotastic within days but when I went to deposit it at Bank of America they informed methat it would have to go to collection first and I would have to fill out a form. They said it would probably be six weeks or longer before my account would be funded. I have deposited other checks from Slotastic but it was about a year ago. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to get the check cashed.

What about taking it to a check cashing place?

I did take it to several cash checking places but it would not accept the routing number on the check. I sent an email to Slotastic to see if they could void the check and wire the funds to my account. I guess I have to wait to hear backfrom then. It is frustrating but I am sure I will get my money eventually.Thanks for the response. I let you know what happens.

Well, that certainly sucks mdexter.....Someone, somewhere must be getting wind of something. Glad Onbling sent my winning via wire transfer....Don't think they put a hold on it, but I haven't tried to get any money out of savings either! GL to you!

Well I decided to take my check back to Bank of America and the customer rep was able to clear the check. She told me as long as there was not a hold on the funds the check will clear. I do not know what the problem was the first time I tried to deposit the check. Either the rep did not know how to run the check through or maybe the funds were not there. Anyway, my funds are in my account and that makes me happy.Also I sent Slotastic and email asking them if they could void the check and wire directly to my account. They told me they could but the stop payment would be $250. I told them the fee was ridiculous and I would pass and go back to my bank. When I returned from the bank they had responded back and said if I had no luck there would be no charge for putting a stop payment on the check since they valued their customers. I really have never had any problems with the casino as long as I have been playing.Good to know there are still a few casinos that offer good customer service.

It can boil down to which teller you end up with I suppose. "
My daughter had a very slight issue when she tried to deposit a casino check at bofa also. The teller needed to bring another teller over to ask her about an international for deposit only check. So many questions were asked but at the end of the interrogation (lol), the second teller said just deposit it and we'll see if a hold gets put on it. That's something the first teller should have just done from the beginning. There was no hold placed and the funds were available in her checking account instantly. "
